Hotmail increase size

I was checking my Hotmail last night and was surprised to see that my mails only take up 4% of the spaces. For a moment I thought I have lost all my emails until I saw that the mailbox size is now 25mb. Wow~! That's nice, since I used Hotmail a lot.

Alright, here's some sharing again.

Kara Marathon Again... =S

If I were to tell people that I went for Karaoke session on 3 consecutive days, the reaction that I will most likely get is "Huh?!", "Crazy...", "So rich", "Don't you have better things to do?"

Well, I did not plan it to be this way. Thursday was supposed to be the one and only karaoke session for the week. Friday session is more to accompany someone and Saturday is cause of Ryan's bday.

Anyway, here's a recap for the past few days.

Thursday
Arranged to go singing with Ron, Sam & Ong at Kbox. They were late so I walk around while waiting for them. They reached about 15 minutes later and we proceed to Kbox.

You should have seen them sing. Each of them will sing a part of the song and they know when the other person is going to take over without even having to turn around to signal to the others, wow~! Such good coordination.

During the singing session, Sam sang "Twinkle, Twinkle little stars" which he promised to sing for me. Can't remember how he actually end up having to sing for me and I was expecting him to avoid the whole thing. Didn't expect him to be so sporting In conclusion, it was a very fun night. I'll have to get them out again someday

Friday
I went to catch the show "Must love Dogs" with Francis. It is a very nice show about a divorced woman finding love again. Oh, the lead actor, Jake, reminds me so much of Ong. I felt as if I am watching Ong acting

Earlier in the night, I received a sms from KM asking me to go Karaoke. He sounds like he need company and though I felt dead beat, I agreed. Went to Kbox again after the show and sang till 3.30am. I felt so dead when I reach home...

Saturday
Today is Ryan's birthday celebration. The night before, I received a sms from him asking if we would like to go Karaoke... I was thinking, Karaoke! Again... But as it was for his Birthday celebration, I just replied him that I'm fine with it.

So the whole group of us head off to Teo Heng for our singing session. I didn't sing much cause I was really really tired. I tried to nap in the karaoke but I just can't sleep

Sang till 7pm then we went to fetch Vivian and head off to Changi Village for our dinner. Heard from Ryan that Glen, Mei & Angie will be there too. Well, finally Mei is making an appearance. She has "vanished" from our life for the past 1 1/2 months. Anyway, didn't get to talk to her. Was busying talking to Yee and catching up with Angie, whom I have not seen for the past 1-2 yr.

I was having lunch with my boss and he was sharing something that I find kinda disturbing. He said that he was overseas with a friend and that friend was looking for S. partner. Said it's common for guys to do that. How gross... imagine if that was your bf or husband... simply terrible. I just can't understand how they can have it with some strangers... aww man... the thought is sickening...

Outing with Ron & Gang

I met Ron, Sam & Francis at Bugis earlier as Ron is passing me some dvds. Kinda surprised that Francis is coming along as he was working night shift the day before and he was still chatting in msn at 2pm... if it's me I think I will collapse.

We went to Sakae Sushi for dinner. They seems to have a very good appetite and took a no of items and also a no of premium items (red plate items). I thought that they must be familiar with the pricing there since Sakae is kinda popular. Guess what, I was wrong... They didn't realise that the price for the premium items is at $6.50 and they took a total of 8 plates. Before asking for the bill, I did a rough calculation and the price came up to 110+/-. Told them about it and they were surprised LOL. Ron was trying to be funny... make me laugh till my tears roll down LOL.

After dinner, we went to a cafe opposite Bugis. Btw, Ron can't seem to keep his hands off Sam. Don't go guessing what that means LOL cause you might guess wrongly =P Well, Ron like to slap Sam on the back, tickle him, slap him on the tummy, etc. Haha ... poor Sam. It's really funny looking at them.

Overall, it was a fun evening. They make me laugh so hard till I tear and not just once but a few times =P

Don's Bday

Don's Bday is coming and we celebrated it today by having dinner at Marina South, my favourite

I made a small something for Don. Spend the whole day doing it. And at the end of it, my thumb was swollen because the glue bottle is so tough that I have to apply lotsa force just to squeeze the glue out.







We also got a cake for Don and it reminded me of my bday cake, which is also full of whip cream

Necklace broke ... again

My necklace broke .. again. This is the 2nd necklace that has broken for this pendant. It is known as an omen that when necklace broke, something bad is going to happen. The first time it broke, something bad did happen.

I just hope that this time round, nothing which is consider bad would happen...

Org Chart

There's some changes to the company and the new Organization Chart was out on Friday. Some of the changes were expected. Anyway, most of the things should remain relatively unchange. At least for our side.

Bryan, my ex-colleague from Australia, was back in town. He has suggested a meet up and had asked me to arrange. So I invited a few of our colleagues but in the end, only Audrey and Mooi Cheng can make it. To be honest, it's more like a gathering between Audrey, Mooi Cheng and me . We were so busy catching up that we kinda neglect Bryan. Well, just a little. LOL.

The meet up ended kinda abruptly though cos Bryan actually forgot the time and was late for his next appointment.

After Bryan left us, we split up and went home. While I was waiting for the bus, I notice a couple standing behind the commercial board at the bus stop. Didn't know what they were doing at first. But after a while, I gather that they were having some kissing sessions Couldn't they pick a better place? Hmm ...

I've bring them to Changi V for dinner once and that was ages ago, when I still have my car. Bring them to the same coffee shop and this is what we had.

Shirley help me to get the tickets for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at a special price and we went to watch it with Nic and Siew Siew.

Before the show even came out, I have read the story book and simply love the story. So when the show came out, I simply have to watch it. But I guess the story has left a deep impression on me cos I remember almost every details in it. So there is actually nothing that really surprise me, which is bad Overall, I would say that the show is good. A fairytale to dream about in today's practical world, whereby fairytale simply does not exist.

Ron wanted to pass me my DVD so we arrange to meet up and have dinner together with Sam and Francis. We meet at Bugis. As it has been a few months since we really get together, it feel kinda awkward, as though I am having dinner with strangers. Good thing is that we still have topics to talk and laugh about. Francis also try to create topic to talk to me which I really appreciate.
We parted after dinner as they need to look up a friend. Well, I would say that friendship, if no effort is put in to maintain it, would fade and eventually we will be back to strangers again.

Friday
One of my friend told me that she is getting married. It is so sudden that it took me totally by surprised. I just hope that this is what she wants and that she will be happy with the choice she has made.

Evening time, had an appointment with Ryan and gang at C&C. Before that, I met Yee for dinner before going down to C&C.
We went to Beach Road for steamboat. While we were there, I keep wondering if I will run into Alex and what might happen. I have constantly wonder about this. Anyway, I did not meet him. I'll let you guys know if I ever do run into him.

Sore Throat

I'm down with sore throat... sick again consecutively, this is bad. Went to see the Doc yesterday and he said that my throat is still red. So he gave me a stronger antibiotics. Shh ... tell you a secret ... I didn't take the antibiotics... Not that I fake the sickness, it's just that I rather my body overcome the virus itself. If I keep taking antibiotics, one day I might run out of medication, lol. Anyway, I only skip the antibiotics, the rest I'm taking.

Earlier on, we went to Balestier for our family dinner. We went to a vegetarian restaurant that serves buffet (my brother is on veg). Food is not bad and we had an enjoyable time.

Sick again

I think I'm falling sick again, woke up with a dry and rough throat. Maybe it's cos I've just recover and I went for KFC...

This afternoon something happen in the office. Things seems to be pretty heated up now. Well, I won't go into details. But I just feel that a quarrel is on the way Especially after yesterday's and this afternoon's incident...

Pampering myself

I have been treating myself like a baby for the past few days, resting when tired and sleeping early. With that, I should say that I'm more or less recovered from the throat infection. I wonder how I would fare if I were to go singing now, lol. Just joking.

Called Mei this morning but she did not answer my call. It's only later that I recall that she just return from Malaysia. Guess she should be sleeping. Alright, guess I will spare her this time round and choose another time to bug her.

I don't feel well, slightly feverish and feeling kinda groggy. Woke up this morning and thought of applying medical leave but change my mind and went to work. But as the day progress, I felt worse and worse and my throat gets more painful.

Met Eddie in the evening. I still don't feel good so he accompany me to see a doctor. As I suspected, I'm down with throat infection. Got some medication and head off home to rest. Haven been really sick in a while and I really missed that care and concern that I used to have ...

Grrr... there goes my sleep! Some contractor just have to choose today to come in to fixed the window

I met mei and gang for dinner last night. On the way to meet up with them, I pass by a shop call "Choc-a-bloc" Well, as the name suggest, they sell chocolate muffins and cakes. But as their business is so good, I can't even get a muffin off the rack. And they says that I have to place an order for whatever item I want. Sounds a bit ridiculous if I were to order a piece of muffin from them... Guess I'll just keep them in mind till the next birthday that comes along.

After dinner, we went over to meet Bren. Before that, we stop by at the Shell Petrol Kiosk and I went to their toilet. Aww man~! I nearly die of suffocation then What happen is that before me, there were 2 malay lady using the washroom. And they were all wrap up in their clothing and they were so hot and sweaty. So when I step in, the stink was so bad that I have to get back out and take a breath. I even held the door open for a while. But it's not much help...

Met up with Shirley

It has been a while since I update my blog. There just isn't any events that I feel is of any significance to share it here.

I finally met up with Shirley, after 2 weeks or more of not seeing her. The comment she has for my hair cut is that it is not nice. Yeah, I know. This is the worst hair cut I ever had I should have stick to Fanny. Guess this is to teach me a lesson for trying out new salons, new stylist...

I was reading KM's blog just now and saw the long story that he has put up there. Such a sad story... Misunderstanding, if you do not have the chance to clarify, can really cost you a lot.

Alright, here's a run down for the past few days.

Sunday
Zhiming invited me to his church gathering. Didn't really wanted to go but he keep assuring me that they would not touch on stuff relating to "Christianity". So I went.

He told me it was at Taneh Merah but when we met up, he realise that he messed up, the place should be at Jurong West! Took a cab down and was kinda late when we arrived. There were like 20 plus people at the place Kinda stress. Well, as they are a friendly bunch of people, soon we were talking. Oh! I saw Zhiliang there also. Finally get to hear him play "Qing Tian" with the guitar.

Saturday
Met Yee for dinner and to pass her the forms. We went to Phins for their "Beer Battered Fish & Chips".

It was terrible! Firstly, they took ages to serve us our drinks. Secondly, the food is not nice. And I felt so warm just sitting there.

So far, the best "Beer Battered Fish & Chips" that I have tasted is at the "Dolphin Penthouse Cafe & Restaurant". They have won some awards for the B.B. Fish & Chips. Check it out if you guys are interested, their contact no is 67442848.

Friday
We went to Partyworld to celebrate Mooi Cheng's Bday. She actually wanted to cancel the whole outing as she need to work overtime. In the end, we manage to persuade her by pushing back the time for the karaoke to 10pm.

So while waiting for her to finish her job, we went to Lao Pa Sar for dinner. Had "Fat Man Satay" which I heard from Audrey is very nice. Well, it's not too bad but I still prefer those that I ate in Changi V.

Finished dinner at 930pm and went down to meet up with Mooi Cheng. Peter asked his wife to join us but both of them are so quiet. Sang till 2am and Audrey's Husband send us home. Was dead beat by the time I got home... zz...

Dave's Salon

Evening time, went to Dave's salon to "save" my hair. Dave is Bren's long term stylist and I decided to give it a try. Glad that I did. At least it looks more presentable and I look more "fresh"
