Last post for May

May has come to an end... To me, May has been a month full of activity. It seems like I have accomplish a lot of things =) My trip to HK, a no of Kara and movie sessions, outing with friends, etc. All these has made my birth month a very interesting and eventful month.

Life can be interesting, depending on how you live it...

Reached home about ½ hr ago. Was out with Shirley, Nic and Ellen for a Kara session. Haha ... it seems like I'm going for a lot of Kara and movies session recently ... Hmm... better not sing so much, else it's going to make me broke. We went to Partyworld but it just doesn't seems enough. So we moved to Kbox and continue our singing session. LOL marathon karaoke session =P

Karmy

Karmy message me in msn and told me that she is going to see a fortune teller. She asked if I wanna tag along and I say ok. So she came over to pick me. That's when the "accident" happen...

As she is driving into my carpark, some kid's football hit her car and left scratches on it... A guy came forward and argue with her. In the end they called the police. Even then it's still not settled. We went down to the NPC to lodge a report but is that the end of the story? I wonder... Following are some pics that we took of her car after it got hit...

Well, as we have called up Mei & Glen, they came down to meet us with the rest... "gathering" lol. Have dinner with them before they went off to catch their movie.

Then Karmy and me went down to East Coast with her baobei doggie, Rover. She brought me to a yatch club... hmm... nice place. I never knew it existed even though I have passed by it a no of times. Too bad, that place is not really accessible without a car, else I might prob go over there quite frequently =P

Alvin Tan

I just called up Alvin, my ex-boss. He has also left my previous company due to some unpleasant circumstances... But like the saying, sai wong si ma, yan zhi fei fu, he now has a better future =) I'm so happy for him.

During our conversation, he brought up the topic of working overseas... hmm... maybe I should consider it seriously... especially when I do not have any ties now...

Over Slept

I wonder if Jay's song is having a soothing effect on me or I'm simply dead beat... cos for the past 3 days, I keep waking up at 740am, overslept! Goodness~! First day was "Shit~! Late!" 2nd day is "Again?!" and today is "Haiz... late again" Well, it's nothing new about me being late =P those who know me would tell you, just that I'm not often that late... well, good thing my director is not in town =P else he sure jump.. phew...

Later I'll be meeting Yee for dinner~ will be showing her the pictures that I took in Hong Kong and also those video =P Talking about pictures, Shirley says that Nic has finished uploading the pictures in his online album. Wow~ in that case I don't have to do any uploading =P just have to get the link from him will do *wink* Stay tune, pictures should be on the way soon... lol

Person's role in life

I was scrolling through my HP's message and saw some old message from "Boy boy" (Gabriel). I always like to think of him as my personal angel... He was there for me when I was really down and he really help me through that period. Without him, I might have taken longer to recover =)

Maybe his role in my life has been fulfilled... cos he has disappeared... I only see him occasionally in msn, sms also no reply
=( sad... Well, maybe that's life. People come and people go, leaving behind memories, be it good or bad, it will stay with you throughout your life... sigh...

Fixed my hair

Went to Yishun yesterday to fix my hair, trim, dye and highlight. Well, it looks ok initially but after I wash it, the color turn brighter. Which according to the stylist is normal. Will have to see how the color turn out after a few wash... Hopefully it will tone down a bit...

just now I met Shirley at TM for dinner and then went to shop for a present for Frederick. This is to thank him for taking time off his work to meet up with us and to show us around =) I wanted to get him a pen and after walking around for a while, we decided that pen is what he will get =P

Got him a Pierre Cardin pen and will courier it over to him tomorrow. Hope he will like it.

Just reach home

Just reach home less than 15 min ago... wow~ seems like my sleeping pattern is a bit upside down for the past 2 days =P lol

Spend the past 2 days with Mei and gang. Sat, we went to KBox. Sang till 1 am then we went for supper at Geylang. When we reach there, we couldn't find any parking lots, somemore there's 3 cars... so we decided to pack and take away. Went to Jess's place and have our supper + chit chat till 3+am, then we went home.

Today, met Mei at 9pm and went to Ady's house for a mahjong session. Her dog gave me a kiss when he sees me... =S Anyway, the MJ session ended about an hour ago and I lost $17... Ady is the sole winner, lol, all 3 of us lose to her. Not bad for a new player yah =)

Back in SG

Waiting for mei to call me ... while waiting, I'll blog =)

I touch down in Singapore yesterday around 1220am and Mei came over to pick me. Time really does fly, espcially when you are enjoying yourself. 4 days has passed just like that. Well, following is a recap of the events in Hong Kong, I'll try to be as detailed and brief as possible.

16th May

Woke up at 330am and went to get ready to go to the airport. It's been a long time since I woke up so early... Took a cab with Ellen, who was staying over at my place, to the aiport. Reach there at 430am, ½ hour earlier than the meet up time with Shirley and Nic. So we went to BK to grab a bite, was my dinner cum breakfast =P and Shirley and Nic join us there later. After the meal, we went to check in. Shop around a bit and hang around till the boarding time.

Reached Hong Kong around 1130am and took the airport transfer to Majestic Hotel. After we dump our luggage in the room, we set off for Lantau Island in mind. And it is then that I thought of calling Maria to let her know that I've reached. Good thing also, cos she came over to the hotel to look for me =O

Went back hotel and met up with Maria. Upon her advise, we decided to postpone the trip to Lantau Island to a later date. Today will be spend visiting the markets and eatery. Maria treated us lunch and then brought us around. It is really nice of her =D (We got her a little something that we post over to her ;) hope she will like it) Well, she left us around 615pm for her appointment and we continue our exploring.

17th May

Woke up at 6am and got ready to go to Ocean Park. Wanted to take breakfast at Jumbo Restaurant but they are not open yet. Spend the whole day at Ocean Park, playing the theme rides, watching the shows, etc.

Went back to the hotel to freshen up as it has been a very hot day. Then went for a nice dinner and then head off to Lan Kwai Fong. Instead of drinking, we ended up having Haagen Dazs ice cream there, lol.

18th May

Woke up early and set off for Lantau Island. Day was cloudy. And when we reach the mountain top, it drizzle a little. I didn't manage to get a clear picture of the big Buddha cos of the clouds... what a waste... We had our lunch there (Vegetarian food), which is included in the entrance fee.

After lunch, we wanted to find a hair saloon to groom ourselves but we abandon the plan as the price is either too ex or worried that the end results might not be what we want... Decided to go to the peak early and explore Mdm Tussards wax musuem instead. I got a free tram ride as I was born in May, cool right?

It's very cloudy at the Peak as well. We snap a few pictures of the evening time in HK. Then went to explore Mdm T museum. Some of the wax figurine does looks like the actual person, while some you have to look at a certain angle.

It was still early when we came out from the museum, not yet night fall. Shop around while waiting for night fall as we wanted to take the pictures of the night scenery of Hong Kong. Around 7pm, we went to the viewing platform. It started to drizzle again... and the sky is so cloudy... Well, Nic, our professional photographer set about to take the pics while we waited. When he's done, we went off to our next itinerary, Avenue of Stars.

It has started raining when we reach the place. Decided to brave the rain and walk down the Avenue of Stars. Half way through, the sky break and we have to turn back. It was so heavy that we have to call off the thing and head back to the hotel. We have dinner opposite the hotel, Steam Boat, yummy~ It is later then I realise that there's an "Amber Rainstorm Warning". And it rain through the night...

19th May

Last stop for the trip is Wong Tai Sin Temple. Went down to the temple, walk around a bit and then went to have breakfast. Guess we must be really lucky. The minute we sit down, the rain started and it's raining really heavily...

When we are done and the rain has stopped, we head back to the hotel to pack up and check out. Left our luggage with the hotel and walk around a bit while waiting for Frederick, my friend, to come over to meet us.

Frederick came with David and we had lunch together. He gave us a treat and then bring us to shop in a new shopping complex. It's a big building, we were there for around 2 hours and I only manage to explore 3/4 of the shopping complex...

Went back to the hotel around 445pm to claim our luggage and to wait for our airport transfer which came shortly.

Reached the airport, check in and went for dinner at "阿二靓汤”. Then some last min shopping and went to find our "gate", which is at the extreme end. Flight is delayed by 20 min or so but we still manage to reach SG at 1220am.

Overall, this is a good trip although all of us are very tired at the end of it =P I'm too lazy to upload any pictures now. But when I do, I will post the link here ;) so stay tune~

Horror Movie Marathon

I was sleeping soundly when I felt a pain in my leg... argh... cramp... It's so painful that I was immediately wide awake... poor leg... then when I got back to sleep, the other leg cramp also... argh... what's wrong man? Grr...

Went to catch the Marathon on the 3 horror show, HOUSE OF WAX, THE AMITYVILLE HORROR and CURSED. Well, watching the movies from 9-320am is no joke... I'm so tired that I'm having a headache now =(

In another 24 hours or so, I will be on my way to the airport. Hong Kong, here I come. I hereby wished myself a good journey =) see you guys in another 5-6 days time~

Coach Carter

I just got home from a movie. Used to feel that watching movies are kinda ex yet recently have found me heading more frequently to the cinema. =P

Went to catch the show "Coach Carter". Didn't know what show I'm suppose to be watching and what it is all about =P Unitl I met up with Shirley and she told me then that this is a movie about the life story of a Basketball Coach, name Carter. There I was, wondering if the show will be nice... turn out that this is really a very nice show...

It is about how this coach enter into the players' life and change them for the better. During one part, a player, Cruz told the coach some really touching thing~ Aww... make me tear man... Well, I wun bored you guys with too much details on the show. You can read the summary in the link below:

Think in life, it's all about the people that enter it and the events that happen... that will determine what kinda person you will turn out to be... Of cos, I think the final power still lies in one's own hand... to change or not, it's all up to us...

Dinner with Doris

I had a hectic day at work today. It seems like I'm gonna be super busy this week... esp with that "mad dog" going crazy again... sianzz... already got lotsa things to do le still have to go dig through old records ... grr...

After work, went to meet Doris at Bugis. She was late. When she arrived, she told me she's hungry~ wow~ good sign... told me that she's in a better state today =) So we went for Thai food. It's a buffet and the food is so-so only, nothing fantastic. After dinner, we walk over to Suntec and have a drink there. She recommended me a drink, "Apricot, brandy and 7-up" nice drink~ you guys must try. It's sweet sweet de~ I like it =D Each of us only have 1 glass, phew...

Well, she did seems in a better state than last night. Hopefully this mood will be a long live one...

Doris

Think I'll update after all... This afternoon, I saw Doris's MSN ID change to "Breaking up is a hurtful act"... Drop her a msg and got to know that she just split with her guy last night... Another break up case... Haiz... She's heartbroken... And I can fully understand how she feels. Anyway, I will be meeting her for dinner later. She suggested that we go for a drink after that... =\ Can't reject her... grr... I'm not good at drinking... Anyway, I better refrain from drinking too much as I will need to take care of her... just like our Bintan trip that time... =|

Karaoke again...

My mother day's lunch has been change to tomorrow, or should I say this evening...

Just got home a while ago. Wow, later than yesterday =P I met Yee and have dinner at Don's work place. I like the Crab Meat Pasta that they serve. Nice~! And it was considered a special order =P While having dinner, I told Yee that I rec'd some vouchers from Party World and that's how we decided to go for Karaoke after the meal. FYI, the Party World at Crown Prince operate till 6am... I didn't know about that until today.

I realise that communication is something that we have to constantly work on. A simple "OK" can means so much to the receiving party. Just like what my lecturer used to teach "What you thought you hear might not be what I meant" It is so true... Haiz... happened to me before... more than once... haiz...

Tired...

I just got home a while ago... dead beat... but since I just got out from the shower, I don't feel like sleeping at all... so, here I am =)

I called Mei this morning to ask her out for dinner and Karaoke. She agreed and also invited Glen, Ady & Karmy. I meant it as a kinda early Bday celebration for her as she will be working on her Bday. So I'm glad that more people turn up. We went to Kbox for the karaoke session (hehe... been wanting to sing for the past few days =P) and someone call Ryan up. He came down with Tina and a friend of theirs. This time round, I didn't dedicate "Ni Bi Cong Qian Kuai Le" cos I dunno if it will evoke the same emotion I felt then, so I tot I better steer clear...

This year seems like a bad year for relationship... first is me, then Tina is flying off and leaving behind Ryan and a few friends around me also having probs... M.S told us that she just broke off with K.H... She felt that she should have let go of it long ago... He's 2 timing... and don't deserve such a nice ger as M.S... Told her if she need company can always call me. My cell phone is on 24 hours and I'm kinda free too *wink*

Celica

Wow~! I finally gotten a ride in a Celica =P LOL The last person that I know who drives a Celica is Kenny and although he offered to bring me for a spin, we never did got around to it. Well, today I finally got a ride in one =P

Earlier on, I met up with Shirley and the rest to collect the air tickets and make the balance payment. Then went for dinner at "Chong Pang" with Shirley's friends. And know what, they are really a very fun group of people. They keep cracking jokes and the whole night was spend in laughter =D I got a ride home from Eugene, Shirley's friend, as he was going down to Pasir Ris. He's the one who drove that Celica. Bottom line, a nice evening out with a fun group of people is what I would call time well spend =D

Online Calendar

I was thinking if it was possible to have an online calendar and when I came across this site that offers such service I just went ahead and got one =P I've installed it under "her chums". It's empty now but I will try to update it shortly =) I've also set it to allow visitors to input info. If nonsense are input in it, then I might turn off that function =P so, yeah, informative entry only =)

Went to Sushi Tei for dinner just now. I would say that the food is fresh and maybe that's why they command a higher premium. After that, went to Haagen Dazs again... haha ... been eating Belgium chocolate like, once a week? LOL... If this goes on, I'm gonna get fat again. Ok, that's all for today, I can't wait to explore my calendar...

Tension Headache

Woke up with a headache and felt giddy but I still went on to work for ½ a day before going off to see a doctor. The doctor says I'm suffering from "Tension Headache". He prescribe some medicine for me and advise me to rest more... ok, I'll try... =|

My afternoon appointment was cancelled so I went out for dinner with my parents. My mom says wanna eat "Yu Tou Lu" so I gave her an early Bday treat, her's is just 2 days after mine. After dinner, I went to Tampines Interchange to meet KM. He came down to pass me my Bday present. =) So nice of him hor~ He also gave me a stalk of Rose, when free then I upload the pic here =)

Well, ½ an hour more and my bday will be over. This year's bday is different from the past few years but I had a good time. If only someone were to spend it with me, then it would have been perfect...

Felt Bad

I feel bad now... my mom just asked me if I'm having dinner at home tonight as she intend to cook me a nice dinner... but I already have appointment =( awww.... feel so bad... She wanna celebrate for me and I can't be home... =(

NVM, I'll bring her out for a nice dinner on Wed, which is her Bday *wink*

Yeah, today is my Birthday, one year older liao. Happy Birthday to me =P

I met Yee for dinner just now and Don join us a while later. Went to Sakae Sushi again =P and then I have 2 scoops of Belgium Chocolate at Haagan Dazs after that~! Yummy. And I did a stupid thing... I left $10 on the table and just stand up and leave... well, it's not a lot but still... hmm... wonder what's with me =P so forgetful, haha...

Over all, it's a fun and enjoyable evening =D I have missed going out with Yee~ well, I'll be seeing her again next weekend~ yay~

MSN Virus

This is so annoying!! I contact virus this morning via msn!! Gundo me, I should have known better than to click on the link. Now I just hope that I didn't spread the virus to too many people. Grr... I keep calling Mei for help... =( and she manage to help me to solve it. Phew...

Chalet

Just got home a while ago from Ryan's Chalet and updating today's events now =)

Brought my parents to Sakae Sushi for lunch this afternoon and then shop a bit before going home. Wanted to take a nap before going to Ryan's chalet. That's when I rec'd a call from Zhiming... He said that he's already on the way to Tampines and will reach in 20 min... :rolleyes: grr... no warning at all! And I have to rush out to meet him... there goes my nap... grrr... Meet him for a while at Starbucks and he passed me a DVD "A.I" which is my bday present... hmm... so nice of him... A little like "Xiao Fei Zhu"...

Around 615pm, Mei came over to pick me up and we head off for the chalet. This chalet is a farewell gathering for Tina as she is flying off to London to work and would be staying there for quite a while. Kinda sad for Ryan... he would be so lonely after Tina fly off...

Our whole group (from Lao Da to Karmy) all came down to the chalet. When Leia saw me, the first thing she say is "You slim down". Haha... seems like I really did lose some weight...

After we finished bbq-ing, Don suggest that we play cards and they went off to get the cards. So I started playing games on my HP. After a while, Bren came over and say they are going to cut the cake for Tina. So I just walk over and that's when the whole group of them came out from the chalet and sang me a Bday song~! Wow~! Sotong me, I never tot that they will buy me a cake =P LOL They really caught me by surprise =D Well, I've attached some pics here to share =D
