Eve of New Year Eve

One more day to New Year eve ... time really flies. It seems like 2005 pass faster than the previous years ... Or could it be the many events that happen this year that make it seems faster? I wonder ... Well, I hope that 2006 will be a good year to everyone and that everyone can find what they are looking soon.

Alright, back to me. The past week and a ½ has been spend playing C.O. Seems like a few of us got hook to the game, me being one of them. And everyone of us are tired from lack of sleep ... Bad ... Anyway, it will prob be a while before we got tired of the game. So if you wanna chat with me over msn, look for me in the day time.

Conquer Online

I went for the Lasik Consultation last Friday. The result shows that I am suitable to go for Lasik but due to some concern, I decide not to go for it afterall...

I downloaded a game sometime ago and have never got about to play it. So on last Friday, I started playing it out of bordom and got hook LOL. It's an online RPG game that Audrey introduced me. Very nice game and I think I will "disapper" from msn for a while.

On Monday night, Ron came over to Tampines with Sam to pass me my DVD as well as to collect the installation disk for C.O. Haven seen them for more than a month ...

My company had an early Christmas celebration today and we have buffet, games and lucky dip. One of the game is memory game. We are all requested to stand in a single file and the first person will say out loud his/her name. The 2nd person will repeat that name and his/her own name. Then the 3rd person will repeat that 2 names + his/her own name and it will keep snowballing down the queue. It is a really stressful game, not fun at all. Well, guess this year I am luckier. I won a 512mb flash drive. Not a bad prize after all and it's practical.

The next few days will be busy days so I'll most likely not be entering anything here. I shall take this opportunity to wish all my friends who are reading a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Glen tot he saw Alex

Glen text me in the afternoon and inform me that he thought he saw Alex at Beach Road with 2 old men. In case you were wondering who Alex is, he is my 7 years bf that went missing without giving a reason.

Glen said that Alex look a bit fat and untidy. LOL~!!! Anyway, at least we know that he's still alive. I wonder what his reaction will be if we ran into each other ... Guilty? Or act as though nothing has happen? Hmm ..

Kyp's msg in msn 6th Jan

I was reading through my msn history and came across what someone told me before ...
Don't you ever wish you were someone else, You were meant to be the way you are exactly. Don't you ever say you don't like the way you are. When you learn to love yourself, you're better off by far. And I hope you always stay the same, cuz there's nothin' 'bout you I would change
So sweet~ I shall never forget him ...

My first "Christmas Tree"

Went to Toa Payoh for lunch just now and after I've finished eating, I drop by Watson to shop.

I saw this mini Christmas Tree with LED and music and just bought it. Hehe ... this is going to be my first "Christmas Tree" LOL~!

I've been thinking, is it really possible for couples who have broken off to be friends again? I'm not sure how people achieve that but it seems that it seldom happen in my case ... After splitting, we usually become strangers to each other =( sad ...

Malaysia again

The 4 of us went back to Malaysia yesterday to select the pictures that we want for our album.

Reach the studio in the late afternoon and after a short wait, we were seated in front of the computer to pick the pictures. I can only say WOW~ when I see those pictures, they turn out to be really nice. So nice that it was tough for us to stick to what we were entitled to. End up all 4 of us exceeded our selection by 10 pictures each and have to top up money for those extra pictures.

The sales people at the studio inform us that it will take a month for them to complete the album as they need to add in designs and stuff. Meaning I can only see the end product next year ... Well, I guess good things are worth waiting for (",)

Saw this while I was surfing ...
I don't want a lot for Christmas
There's just one thing I need
I don't care about presents
Underneath the Christmas tree
I just want you for my own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true...
All I want for Christmas
Is you...

M'sia Trip

Went to JB yesterday with Xuer, Nic and Siew Siew to take pictures for our Personal Portfolio. Was staying at Xuer's place the night before and we woke up early in the morning to get ready and then set off for Malaysia.

When we reach there, the shop is still close. When they open, we were brought to the make up room and studio. I like my makeup artist, the makeup she apply on me look natural and not too thick. Overall, the whole session is really fun. And I think it's the company that matters.

Some quotes that I come across and seems to apply to my current situation...

How hard would it be if he's your Prince Charming, but you are not his Cinderella?

It's like my mind knows what's right but my heart is being retarded and still cares.

Sick

Haven been feeling too good recently. Something has happen that has caused me to feel down but I'm getting back on my feet ...

Just got back from watching Harry Porter. A super long show but nonetheless nice. Throughout the whole evening, I'm feeling terrible. My throat hurts and I feel tired. I thought the tiredness was due to Saturday's blading ... but now I think it might be due to the fact that I'm not feeling well. Anyway, I'm going to rest now, hopefully tomorrow will find me fit and well again ...

update again - ronald bday

A week has pass since Ronald's bday... which was a very memorable day to me Image Hosted by ImageShack.us That was also the day that I drank more than I've ever drink Image Hosted by ImageShack.us All thanks to Mr Ronald... But well, it was a good thing Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Last Sunday, went to Johor Bahru, Malayisa with Shirley and Nic. Siew Siew met us there. We wanted to look for a studio to take cover shots and from what we know, Malaysia offers very attractive packages.

After checking out 2 of the more appealing studio, we settle for the one that Siew Siew has tried before. Will be going in to Malaysia end of this month for the photo taking. So now I would need to start thinking what clothes I have to bring in with me.

Yesterday, went out with Sam and Ronald. Ong join us a short while later. They are going to play billard at Golden Mile. I didn't join them in the game as I sux. I've tried Billard before but I can't make the ball move very far and I have not try again since then Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Later in the night, we went to watch "Tom-Yum-Goong" It is a nice show, worth watching. I heard that the review for this show is very good too. Following is what this show is about:
Tom-Yum-Goong is the story of a young man named Kham whose life is turned upside down when an international mafia syndicate, based in Australia, captures his two beloved elephants and smuggles them thousands of kilometers away to Sydney. The two elephants are far more than mere animals to Kham and his father. They are part of the family and were being prepared to be presented as a token of devotion to his Majesty the King of Thailand. The only way Kham can possibly save the animals is by venturing into the foreign land for the first time.

Updates~

It's been 10 days since my last update Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Well, here goes~

Sunday 18th
We are celebrating Siew Siew's bday today.

Met Shirley and gang at Dhoby Ghaut MRT and then walk over to the Steamboat restaurant at Paradiz for our dinner. The food serve by this restuarant is interesting. I like the ½ boiled egg in the starter. In summary, the food there is nice and I'm planning to bring ma parents there soon.

Friday
The long awaited day has finally arrived~ Today is the day for my holiday on Star Cruise Virgo. I have never been on a cruise before and is looking forward to it.

I went directly to Harbour Front from my work place and reached there around 645pm. Went to grab some magazines and off to check in and board the cruise.

Went to our room and leave our stuff there before going for the briefing. After that, the exploring of Star Cruise Virgo starts...

We went up to the deck and stay there till the cruise sail off. We nearly died of fright when they sound the horn, we did not expect that they will do that and it caught us unprepared.

After watching the cruise sail out of the harbour, we started to walk around and get our bearings. And it is also the time for the photo taking session Image Hosted by ImageShack.us I took a pic of the loving couple which reminds me of the show "Meteror Garden".

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

I wonder if they will upload those pictures and pass me the link like our HK trip ...

Saturday
Woke up around 615am to get ready to watch the sunrise, which is at 648am. After getting ready, we went up to the sun deck and get ready to snap pictures of the sunrise. To our dismay, the sun is hiding behind the clouds and did not show it's face. Still, Nic managed to take some pictures of the sun.

After watching the sunrise, we went over to the "Galaxy of Stars" to check out their breakfast. Well, they only offer some pastries and beverages. We took a few pastires and pick a cosy little corner to enjoy the quiet morning. The we went for our actual breakfast which is chinese dim sum.

Having finish breakfast, we head down to the swimming pool in our swimming attire. The morning and afternoon is spend relaxing in the Jacuzzi and dipping in the cold swimming pool. Here's a picture that I took the night before of the swimming pool.

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

Dinner for tonight can almost be call a feast. It is a BBQ at the pool side. They have BBQ sausage, chicken, lamb chop and also a variety of food. It is a great improvement to me.

Later that night, we met up with a storm and it got a little bit rocky. Just a little bit rocky, really, although the rain is pretty heavy.

Sunday
We were feeling tired and slept late into the morning. After we have freshen up, we vacate the room and head down to "Bella Vista" for our breakfast. After breakfast, we walk around and went to the theater to await our turn to disembark.

In summary, this is a nice getaway. I would say that it's the company that counts. Honestly, going for holiday with Shirley and Nic is fun. Everyday is filled with lotsa laughter. Now I am looking forward to going to Taiwan with them ... provided I am still in Singapore ...

Last but not least, here's something to share~

Updates

I haven been sleeping enough for the past few days and was feeling kinda stone. Which is why there wasn't any updates. So here goes~

Thursday
Saw Devon's post in F4D and also her msn nick and gathered that something happen between her and her boyfriend.

Send her a sms and after some chatting she agreed to meet up tomorrow. I asked Ronald over msn if he would like to meet up his Devon mei which he agreed. And usually if there's Ronald, there will also be his 3 buddies, Sam, Francis & Ong. So it's confirm, we will meet up tomorrow, time, venue and program to be decide later.

Friday
After a few rounds of duscussion, the final meet up place is set at Suntec City. We are going to have dinner follow by the show "Deuce Bigalow".

Sam is driving today so I met him at his office and then we went to pick up Ronald before heading off to Suntec City. We were caught in a jam and was late. Poor Devon has to wait for us. But the last person to reach is Francis followed by Ong.

Dinner is ok. Most of the time I was the one who's talking. Terrible right? As though I am super talkative...

We head off to the cinema after dinner. The show "Deuce Bigalow" is simply hilarious. Some of the scenes are gross but I feel that Deuce is a guy who understands women's needs and try to fulfill them. In the show there is a giant woman who wanted to have a baby so much but is just unable to conceive. What Deuce did is that he arrange for adoption of a baby for her. Isn't he sweet?

After the show, we went home. During the journey home, Devon and me chatted quite a lot. I hope that she will be able to make the right choice, main thing is that she have to be happy. All the best Devon~ do spend sometime to decide what is best for you.

Saturday
Woke up feeling really stone but I still went on to meet Gary at Cityhall as he wanted to buy something from The Bodyshop. And being a member there, I have 10% discount for their normal price items. In the end, he decided to buy vouchers which is not entitled to any discounts.

After that we went window shopping at Suntec. Went for a walk around the Fountain of Fortune, it's my first time walking round it and it's kinda fun. Here's some pics~

Clover Necklace

My Clover Necklace has gone into "retirement".

The hook on the pendant chip, meaning that if I wear it, it might drop anytime and I'll run the risk of losing the pendant for good.

I've decided to keep the pendant in it's box. No more worries about broken necklace and no need to source for matching necklace.

Guess this is really goodbye, for good.

Just wondering if any of you have bath with candle light in a HDB flat before? Well, I have ... last night. Long story, here goes.

I was taking a bus home and this Malay Lady got up and wanted to alight from the bus. As I was sitting on the outer seat, I turn aside to let her past. She was carrying 2 big plastic bag and something leak and drip onto the seat and me. I did not notice that there was some liquid on the seat and placed my hand on it. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

The Malay lady told me that it was lemon juice and when she saw me wiping my hands and the seat, she asked me to wipe off all the liquid. I kinda doubt that those are lemon juice cause it felt oily. So I took a sniff and awww... the smell is like sardine fish! Smelly and fishy! Luckily I have some wet wipes with me.

After I alight, I received a call from my mom informing me that our apartment is having power failure! The entire block has black out. I went to buy some candles and went home. Not knowing when the electricity is going to be turn on again, I have to bath with the help of the candle light. It might sounds romantic but I am in no mood for that, cause the flame nearly went out when water spray onto the candle by accident.

The electricity came on sometime later but trip 2 more times before it got stable again. What a day...

Friday
Went to watch "The Corpse Bride" with Shirley, Nic, KL, Siew Siew & Ellen. It is a nice show and I find this statement that the corpse bride, Emily, said very touching. She said "Victor, I love you. But you are not mine" How sad... but this does happen in real life too.

After the show, we went to Indo Chine. This is the first time I'm there. Nice place. Here's the pic~

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

We left the place around 1am and took a Night Rider home (first time as well) The bus goes to Simei and I have to walk home from there. By the time I reach Simei, I'm hungry so I bought a cup noodle, add hot water and ate it while walking home Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

In Grown Toe Nail

My toe has been sore and swollen for the past week and thinking it's no big deal, I did not went to consult a doctor.

On Sunday night, the toe got really red and swollen with traces of blood flowing out. I got really worried and decided to see a doctor the following day.

So on Monday morning, I woke up much earlier and head off to the clinic. The wait was about ½ hour and when I describe my symptom to the doctor, he told me that I have an in-grown nail. He prescribe some antibiotics and medication to reduce the swelling and asked me to go back to him on Friday. If by then the situation is not improved, he said he will have to perform a minor operation to remove part of the nail plate. He then gave me 2 days medical leave to rest.

After a few days of medication, there has been a great improvement to the condition of my toe. I think I will be able to avoid the operation if things continue to improve as it is.

I won a pair of tix to Nokia Starlight Cinema

I was checking my hotmail and saw some emails in my junk folder. It is my habit to check the junk folder as some of my friends' email will be directed there.

When I went in, I saw an email from Nokia Starlight Cinema informing me that I have won a pair of tickets~! I was so happy~! I have wanted to go to the Starlight Cinema but I couldn't find anyone to join me, reason being the price is a little bit steep and the shows are already screened by the local cinemas. So I am so glad when I got this pair of free tickets Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I asked Yee if she would like to go to the show with me and she is so nice to agree to accompany me to the show~ We choose to watch the show "Initial D" and I'm really glad cos the first time I watch it in the cinema, I didn't get a very good seat. This time round I got a really good view and under the stars somemore~ It is such a nice experience.

I've taken some pictures and upload it. Check it out~

Majhong at Ron's house

Sam buzz me in msn and asked if I would like to join their Mahjong session. I was hesitant as their rules are different. They do not have any ceiling and the minimun requirement to win is at least 2 tiles. In the end I agreed.

Sam picked me up at Aljunied MRT and head off to Ronald's house. I thought I can see "Girl Girl", the dog that Ronald adopted but his mom has brought it to her house.

Sometime in the night, Ronald and his girlfriend had a heated agruement. I was a bit shocked to witness it and kinda worried... But according to the 2 buddies, this is a common occurance. And I got to know how stubborn the 2 of them can be. Luckily it all got resolved in the end.

While I was surfing, I came across this quote and find it meaningful

Disgusting thing

I saw something that I find really disgusting. This happens when I was on my way back to my office from lunch.

I was on the bus and it was stopping at a slip road, waiting for it's turn to move off. As I was sitting at the window seat, I caught an action out of the corner of my eye and turn to take a look.

I saw this young man standing at the traffic light waiting to cross the road. He has one finger stuck into his nostril and the next minute, he pull it out, along with a long string of muscus. You won't believe what he did next! He put that finger into his mouth and suck it clean!!! OMG!!! That is simply disgusting!! And he did it again and again! I was so disgusted that I nearly throw out my food there and then.

Starlight Cinema

I was attracted by the "Initial D" picture in MSN homepage and I went in to check what it was about. That's when I came to know about the Starlight Cinema.

It seems fun and I shared it with Ron and gang, asking if they will be interested in it. But they were not keen, the entrance fee are a little steep, they said. I have asked Shirley but she has watched most of the movies already... sigh.. nvm nvm, I will ask around and see who is interested.

The outdoor cinema reminds me of the time when I was a kid and I wanted to relieve those moments...

Anyway, check it out here. Show starts tomorrow.

Sky Pub

Friday
It's Friday, time to stay up late again, LOL.

Met Yee for dinner before we meet up with Ryan. He's asking us to go to a pub in Tanjong Pagar and it's the first time we are patronising it. Peng Peng, Vivian and some other people went down as well. One of their guy friend reminds me a little of my Didi. For a moment I was wondering if they are somehow related.

Overall, this place is not bad. I would prefer this place to C&C partly cos I can "breathe" better here. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Saturday
Woke up early in the morning as I have an appointment with Shirley and Nic. We are going down to MISA to make payment for our cruise to nowhere. Surprisingly, they do not accept Nets so I have to draw out the money from the ATM.

Although we have made payment, the booking is not consider complete as MISA has key in Nic's name wrongly. They will send the amended copy to me on Monday via email. The paperwork should be complete by Monday, so Star Cruise Virgo, here I come Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Following this, we walk to City Hall to have lunch with Nic's friend. There's a married couple in the group with a baby girl who is really adorable~ I think one of Nic's friend came down just to see the baby.

The afternoon past pleasantly with lotsa laughter. I think I will never forget about this interesting incident about one of his friend regurgitating previously swallowed food and chewing on them again. Make me laugh till my tears roll down. It is simply amazing! He's the only person that I know who can do that Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I went to Sam's work place to pass him something. On the way to the bus stop, I saw this poor Cat that has lost it's nose. No joke, it really lost it's nose. I have taken a picture of it. Here... Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Think I heard in YES 93.3 about the promotion for Star Cruise Virgo the day before. They are giving free cruise for men, on the condition that they have a paying partner. So I send the link to Shirley & Nic and also Ron & Gang. In the end, Shirley and Nic are interested so I will be going for the cruise with them Image Hosted by ImageShack.us We'll be going down the the agent's office to make payment on Saturday. Wow~ I am looking forward to the cruise~

Pissed w Pxxxx

I was pissed with a friend of mine. He called me and during the conversation, he brought up Alex, telling me that it is a waste for us to split up. The thing is he only know a small portion of the whole picture, so how can he comment about whether it is a waste or not? There is more things than meets the eye. I do not like to go around sharing these kinda information or discussing about it with just anyone. I have already make my final decision and that's that. If he come and bug me about this again, he's gonna get it from me.

Mommy

I'm simply impressed with my mommy, she's really amazing

I came home yesterday to find her sitting in front of my computer learning how to use it. I was surprised to see her sitting there as I simply did not expect her to wanna learn how to use the computer.

And last week, I got her a cell phone that has an in-build camera. I taught her how to use it and saw her exploring it by herself. The next moment, there she is snapping away with her cell phone. My dad came to me and said in a joking manner, "See what you have done... Now I am the 'victim'." Image Hosted by ImageShack.us LOL. Reason being my mom was taking pictures of my daddy. LOL. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Earlier, I went to Toa Payoh to take a bus home. As I was walking towards the bus terminal, a guy approach me to complete a survey for him. Instinctively, I rejected him as the first thing that come to my mind is "Insurance"!

While I was walking away, I found that he look more like a student. So feeling bad, I walk back to him and asked if he's doing a project for his school and he said no, it was a survey on Radio station. Since it's not insurance, I decied to help him with the survey. For my effort, I was given a notebook from the Radio Station that he represented Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Kara Marathon Again... =S

If I were to tell people that I went for Karaoke session on 3 consecutive days, the reaction that I will most likely get is "Huh?!", "Crazy...", "So rich", "Don't you have better things to do?" Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Well, I did not plan it to be this way. Thursday was supposed to be the one and only karaoke session for the week. Friday session is more to accompany someone and Saturday is cause of Ryan's bday.

Anyway, here's a recap for the past few days.

Thursday
Arranged to go singing with Ron, Sam & Ong at Kbox. They were late so I walk around while waiting for them. They reached about 15 minutes later and we proceed to Kbox.

You should have seen them sing. Each of them will sing a part of the song and they know when the other person is going to take over without even having to turn around to signal to the others, wow~! Such good coordination.

During the singing session, Sam sang "Twinkle, Twinkle little stars" which he promised to sing for me. Can't remember how he actually end up having to sing for me and I was expecting him to avoid the whole thing. Didn't expect him to be so sporting Image Hosted by ImageShack.us In conclusion, it was a very fun night. I'll have to get them out again someday Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Friday
I went to catch the show "Must love Dogs" with Francis. It is a very nice show about a divorced woman finding love again. Oh, the lead actor, Jake, reminds me so much of Ong. I felt as if I am watching Ong acting Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Earlier in the night, I received a sms from KM asking me to go Karaoke. He sounds like he need company and though I felt dead beat, I agreed. Went to Kbox again after the show and sang till 3.30am. I felt so dead when I reach home...

Saturday
Today is Ryan's birthday celebration. The night before, I received a sms from him asking if we would like to go Karaoke... I was thinking, Karaoke! Again... But as it was for his Birthday celebration, I just replied him that I'm fine with it.

So the whole group of us head off to Teo Heng for our singing session. I didn't sing much cause I was really really tired. I tried to nap in the karaoke but I just can't sleep Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Sang till 7pm then we went to fetch Vivian and head off to Changi Village for our dinner. Heard from Ryan that Glen, Mei & Angie will be there too. Well, finally Mei is making an appearance. She has "vanished" from our life for the past 1 1/2 months. Anyway, didn't get to talk to her. Was busying talking to Yee and catching up with Angie, whom I have not seen for the past 1-2 yr.

Disturbing Thoughts

I was having lunch with my boss and he was sharing something that I find kinda disturbing. He said that he was overseas with a friend and that friend was looking for S. partner. I just can't understand how they can have it with some strangers... aww man... the thought is sickening...

Outing with Ron & Gang

I met Ron, Sam & Francis at Bugis earlier as Ron is passing me some dvds. Kinda surprised that Francis is coming along as he was working night shift the day before and he was still chatting in msn at 2pm... if it's me I think I will collapse.

We went to Sakae Sushi for dinner. They seems to have a very good appetite and took a no of items and also a no of premium items (red plate items). I thought that they must be familiar with the pricing there since Sakae is kinda popular. Guess what, I was wrong... They didn't realise that the price for the premium items is at $6.50 and they took a total of 8 plates. Before asking for the bill, I did a rough calculation and the price came up to 110+/-. Told them about it and they were surprised LOL. Ron was trying to be funny... make me laugh till my tears roll down LOL.

After dinner, we went to a cafe opposite Bugis. Btw, Ron can't seem to keep his hands off Sam. Don't go guessing what that means LOL cause you might guess wrongly =P Well, Ron like to slap Sam on the back, tickle him, slap him on the tummy, etc. Haha ... poor Sam. It's really funny looking at them.

Overall, it was a fun evening. They make me laugh so hard till I tear and not just once but a few times =P

Don's Bday

Don's Bday is coming and we celebrated it today by having dinner at Marina South, my favourite Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I made a small something for Don. Spend the whole day doing it. And at the end of it, my thumb was swollen Image Hosted by ImageShack.us because the glue bottle is so tough that I have to apply lotsa force just to squeeze the glue out.

We also got a cake for Don and it reminded me of my bday cake, which is also full of whip cream Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Org Chart

There's some changes to the company and the new Organization Chart was out on Friday. Some of the changes were expected. Anyway, most of the things should remain relatively unchange. At least for our side.

Bryan, my ex-colleague from Australia, was back in town. He has suggested a meet up and had asked me to arrange. So I invited a few of our colleagues but in the end, only Audrey and Mooi Cheng can make it. To be honest, it's more like a gathering between Audrey, Mooi Cheng and me Image Hosted by ImageShack.us. We were so busy catching up that we kinda neglect Bryan. Well, just a little. LOL.

The meet up ended kinda abruptly though cos Bryan actually forgot the time and was late for his next appointment. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

After Bryan left us, we split up and went home. While I was waiting for the bus, I notice a couple standing behind the commercial board at the bus stop. Didn't know what they were doing at first. But after a while, I gather that they were having some kissing sessions Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Couldn't they pick a better place? Hmm ...

Quiz: Ready to Date Again?

I Just try a new quiz and this is the results:

Ready to Date Again?

Your Results

You're basically ready to date, though you do sometimes have setbacks. One day you'll feel completely fine -- excelling at work, going out with your friends, planning a spa vacation. And then the next day you'll be cleaning out the attic and see that ugly vase that someone gave you as a wedding gift and burst into tears. This is normal, so go easy on yourself. Don't push yourself too hard, but do try to take small steps to invite new men into your life. Start learning about all the great new dating services available these days. Talk to other single friends about their experiences in the dating world. Find ways to break out of your routine -- go to your coworker's birthday party, join a book club, and (whatever!) let your best friend set you up with her cousin. And when you have a setback and want to spend the weekend eating chocolates and watching old movies, that's OK, too

Charlie & the Choco Factory

Saturday
I was in the mood to bring my parents out for dinner so I suggested that we have dinner at Changi V. My dad seems kinda keen about the idea.

I've bring them to Changi V for dinner once and that was ages ago, when I still have my car. Bring them to the same coffee shop and this is what we had.

After dinner, we walk around and my parents were reminiscing about their story Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Monday
Shirley help me to get the tickets for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at a special price and we went to watch it with Nic and Siew Siew.

Before the show even came out, I have read the story book and simply love the story. So when the show came out, I simply have to watch it. But I guess the story has left a deep impression on me cos I remember almost every details in it. So there is actually nothing that really surprise me, which is bad Image Hosted by ImageShack.us Overall, I would say that the show is good. A fairytale to dream about in today's practical world, whereby fairytale simply does not exist.

Before I head off to bed, here's something to share:
